Muzeum Okręgowe w Koninie

Muzeum Okręgowe w Koninie, instytucja kultury Samorządu Województwa Wielkopolskiego, dokumentuje historię Ziemi Konińskiej. Jego główna siedziba mieści się w Zamku w Gosławicach. Początki muzeum sięgają 1953 roku, kiedy to członkowie PTTK w Koninie utworzyli regionalną izbę pamiątek. W 1956 roku przekształcono ją w Muzeum Regionalne, zlokalizowane w budynku dawnego kina „Moderne” przy ul. Słowackiego.

W 1966 roku powołano Muzeum Zagłębia Konińskiego, pierwszą państwową jednostkę muzealną w regionie, a w 1975 roku placówka zyskała status muzeum okręgowego. W 1982 roku muzeum przeniesiono do Zamku w Gosławicach, który został udostępniony zwiedzającym w 1986 roku.

Zbiory obejmują wystawy stałe, takie jak „Konin poprzez wieki” czy „Pradzieje Ziemi Konińskiej”. W strukturze muzeum znajdują się także skanseny maszyn górniczych i etnograficzny oraz zrekonstruowane obiekty, w tym dwór polski i skansen archeologiczny w Mrówkach.
